Why I dont have an apple product
I never really bought into this apple “i culture”. And i have many reasons not to.
- It’s not really that nice – I think the phones popularity is due to mass hysteria honestly, look at it
. it’s just a rectangular box with a shiny case and a screen. Nothing special about it. I could list a whole raft of mobile phones that are nicer than the iPhone. - 2. Steve jobs - I don’t really get along with the guy. is there an App that can make him cool? Why can’t he be a bit more eccentric like Richard Branson or Warren Buffet. Personally i think he is an Alien, that only comes out of hiding when its time to launch a new product.
- 3. I don’t have that much disposable income - I am just a humble (broke) blogger, i am not prepared to go on a two year £30 a month contract to make Mr Jobs richer.
4. Japan - there are more advanced phones in japan, so if its about the latest technology i would sooner go to Japan. The iPhone is 4 generations behind some japanese phones!
5. I hate touch screen keyboards - I know i am in the minority but i have big fingers and the whole touch screen thing doesn’t impress me. I generally want a good solid button to press.
6. The ipad - Another pointless device which will not do well. It is essentially a blown up iPhone. Come on apple where is the creativity there. I was completely disappointed at the launch.
7. Would some one please buy me an ipad!!!…lol.
I totally see your point, but some of those apple apps are addictive – I think that’s the point. They get people hooked and then reel them in.
#7 is priceless!!!
I like my iPhone, but as far as it not being the best phone on the market, you’re right. But the iPhone has the App Store with over 140,000 apps you can only use on an iPhone. Google has an app store too, but with about a third as many apps.
I take you are not going to buy me that iPad.
Well said, is that all? so you dont like apple i will get you ipad made in Ghana, made by osafo kantaka.
LOL marian Osofo kantaka. i love that very amusing!
I never liked the iphone. Funny thing is that in the united states, one out of every 5 phone users have the iphone. And yes the tech is generations behind. In the US, it takes the FCC too long to approve phone devices and that doesn’t help either since tech is outdated before it hits the market. Personally however, I am an android kinda guy.
i smhow agree with u.i also thnk marian is ryt,i ll try n get u 1 made by sarfo kantanka n ithnk with dat u jst sneeze n its on.wat abt dat?
My broda,
There are more Apple products than the iPhone and the iPad. I love my iPhone and MacBook Pro.
Yes, Apple products are that nice. In automobile lingo, Apple is BMW. Do people think BMW’s are overpriced? You bet. But when you drive one, you understand why. The fact that I cannot afford an X6 doesn’t stop me from wanting one.
While I will agree with you that there is so Apple products are overpriced, the value you get from an optimized use of the products somewhat justifies some of the prices. Yes, if all you want to do is check e-mail and make a phone call then you should not buy an Apple product. There are far less expensive options, especially if you are a broke blogger (ha-ha).
I don’t really care for Steve Jobs either.
I LOVE my iPhone – don’t like AT&T. The iPad, I don’t think I need one – but if you would like to buy me one, I am sure I can enjoy it.
I thought you were going to offer to buy me the ipad after your long speech
